The Learning Experiences Division of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
is building a creative culture for all of the Museum's audiences by designing dynamic arts and nature appreciation practices that:
• challenge curiosity, ideas and critical thinking;
• make the Museum and its online presence transformative sites for visitors of all ages;
• work with worldwide community resources for the enjoyment, understanding and use of great art, design, and the environment.
Looking for:
• a brilliant museum thinker/educator who will connect the Museum's collections - art, architecture, garden & grounds - to early childhood, K-12, and college/university audiences through vital, relevant, and purposeful on-site and online learning experiences
• a superb organizer/manager who will balance the demands of creative program development and delivery with departmental administrative strategy and oversight
• a savvy departmental fiscal coordinator who will deliver efficient bottom-line budget management founded on the highest ethical principles
• an engaged mid-level museum leader committed to nurturing the Museum's and his/her staffs' growth through all phases of construction, implementation, and refinement
• a positive and cooperative on-site and online-based school resource developer and contributor who will collaborate with regional, national, and international public and private curriculum-centered educational facilities

Salary Range and Benefits
Entry salary range is $50,000 - $60,000, based on experience. Crystal

ABOUT CRYSTAL BRIDGES
Founded by Alice Walton, Crystal Bridges is a new art museum in
Bentonville, Arkansas, scheduled to open in 2010. To be housed in a 100,000
s.f. building designed by Moshe Safdie, the facility will include 20,000
s.f. of permanent collection galleries, and 10,000 s.f for changing exhibitions. A major research library is also being developed. A staff of approximately 75 and an annual operating budget in excess of $10 million will support the institution's education and program efforts.
